we ever recognize it? Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever . . . it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. Once you really commence to see things, then you really
commence to feel things. Above all, I craved to seize the whole essence, in the
confines of one single photograph, of some situation that
was in the process of unrolling itself before my eyes.
