Dieses Foto habe ich 2019 vom Dach eines Hauses in der Innenstadt von Johannesburg gemacht. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass Toilettenpapier mal so eine große Rolle in unserem Leben spielen und zum Symbol für die Pandemie würde. Wenn die Krise überwunden ist, dann wird es hoffentlich viele kreative Ideen geben, was man mit dem gehorteten Toilettenpapier 🧻 noch so machen kann. Ich freue mich auf diese Zeit und die Ideen. Bleibt gesund!

3 days to go! On 9th January my exhibition starts. This photo is titled “ Where laundry is, is hope “. The smell of freshly laundered laundry has something homely about it. Ein buntes und fröhliches neues Jahr! Mein Jahr 2020 beginnt mit meiner ersten Ausstellung mit dem Titel "Unsere Welt bleibt bunt!" am 9.1.2020.
Mit meinen Fotos dokumentiere ich das Leben der einfachen Menschen, das ich auf der Straße beobachten kann. Sie entstanden im November 2017 und Februar 2018 zumeist aus der 12. Etage eines Appartementhauses im Herzen Johannesburgs.

My year 2020 begins with my first exhibition entitled "Our world remains colorful!" on January 9th, 2020.
With my photos I document the life of ordinary people that I can observe on the street. They were created in November 2017 and February 2018 mostly from the 12th floor of an apartment house in the heart of Johannesburg.

Der Oktober ist wohl der schönste Monat in Johannesburg. Wenn der Frühling beginnt und es wärmer wird, dann zeigt sich die Stadt in ihrem lila Kleid.

It’s almost time for our next Inner City 👩‍🌾 market! Time flies! The market boasts a number of vendors selling amazing home made goods from jams and pickles to cured meats. Our studios and eateries are all open, so come and spend the morning stocking up and enjoying fresh coffee, fresh bread and other treats!
