So the last few months I've been capturing most of my images directly in black and white (stolen technique from ) and yeah that's that's what I see after I click the shutter. That's my perspective of the world and that's why even today when the colour image looks really pretty, the black and white still comes first, that's the image I went out to capture. So why do I edit/post a colour image when the black and white is what I intended, that's for part two of this caption, although I'm not sure anybody made it this far down ✌

Most days I capture images because I want to document the world and the people around me, on others, like today, I just go out and try to have as much fun as possible and yeah this is the result of fun. Tried out some new colours swipe to see them if you'd like. I'm still in a black and white phase, I'm not quite sure when I'll have a colour photo first on the feed for a while but I think it's important to me to carry on editing in colour when I can. Colour fascinates me, and I think there's something special to having one image produce two different photos based on the colours used. Colour is more than what we see everyday, it's more that what our brains process, consciously or subliminally. Colour is a way of life, it's a feeling and on some level be it your clothes, your room, your car or your shoes you've made choices impacting the colour around you. Colour is unescapable. Colour may just be the essence of life

What do you feel when you look at some of your images? I look at this one and I feel kind of empty. I'm reminded how insignificant I am in the grander scheme of things. Just another moving part in an ever evolving world. It's kind of bleak I know but maybe that's why there's no color photo accompanying it, or maybe it's some other reason, I don't really remember to be honest

On top of the world, or at least just a little higher than normal. Had an amazing time climbing up rocks, squeezing through caves l and meeting new friends last weekend. So YouTube randomly recommended me this random Louis Rossman video where he talks about true freindship and one of the points he brought up was that true friends don't expect you to work for them for free, and even thought there's a ton of other reasons this guy here is my friend (mainly because he let's me cyberbully him), I think one of the moments that solidified it is when he decided to pay me even though I offered to shoot him for free. I know it's a bit soon but I'm gonna miss you a s**t ton next year, enjoy that Al Capone Vegas life 🌹
