I photograph with light, but I look for connection.

My greatest muse is sunlight.

I love the way it moves across a landscape, catches someone’s face, filters through trees or turns an ordinary moment into something quietly extraordinary.

With a background in film, cinematography and documentary storytelling, I approach photography with an instinct for light, movement and narrative.

I look for the glance between two people.
The hand reaching for another hand.
The child who suddenly runs ahead.
The laughter nobody planned.
The quiet moment before something begins.
These are the photographs that become memories.

𝗜'𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿. 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

With more than 17 years of experience across photography, film, television and visual storytelling, I bring a cinematic eye and a documentary sensibility to every shoot.

My background includes working as a photographer, Director of Photography and camera operator, as well as photographing for magazines and publications and creating imagery that has appeared on book covers.

I spent ten years surrounded by the vast landscapes and extraordinary light of the Karoo before moving to Jeffreys Bay in 2024.

Today, the coast has become my backdrop – but I’m still drawn to the same things I’ve always looked for through a camera: 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴.

I photograph families, couples, maternity sessions, portraits and weddings throughout the Eastern Cape and beyond.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲

The people we love change. Children grow. Families evolve. New chapters begin. And somehow, the moments we wish we could hold onto are often the ones that pass the quickest.
I photograph people, relationships and the seasons of life that deserve to be remembered – from the anticipation of becoming parents to family holidays, anniversaries, growing children, quiet moments between two people and the celebration of a wedding day.

My approach is natural, cinematic and deeply rooted in storytelling. Rather than asking you to spend your session posing for the camera, I want you to experience it – to move, laugh, connect and simply be together.

The result is photography that feels authentic, artistic and unmistakably yours.
