The Boteti river floodplain running through the Makgadigadi Pans National Park is an absolute paradise at the moment. As the "liquid gold" filtering down from the Okavango Delta continues to raise the river level big boys enjoy a mud bath at one of the local hangouts while hundreds of Burchell's zebra gather to watch the show.
