Grass, Proteas, Glory (with scriptures), Flowers (with the fruit of the spirit) and this South African sunsets which is very special to me personally. God’s wild garden helped me survive financially and emotionally in many ways through COVID. I have since launched my education business and the Lord laid it on my heart to use God’s wild garden range for Kingdom funding. So now all profits from the photos and products we sell with God’s wild garden will be supporting missions. I am truly excited. #

It was a dear friend of mine’s birthday yesterday and as I was praying for word to send her with some images from her beautiful garden in Bonnievale, the Lord reminded me of how we forget that He sees, enjoys and is glorified by the small details we so often overlook. The work and impact the bees and ants do daily goes unnoticed by many. The insects don’t mind as they are just doing what God created them to do. And so it should be with us. We just need to do what He has created us to do ....He sees all the detail and reveals different aspects of Himself through that.

22 Thus says the Lord God: I Myself will take a twig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out; I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one and will plant it upon a mountain high and exalted. 23 On the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it may bring forth boughs and bear fruit and be a noble cedar, and under it shall dwell all birds of every feather; in the shade of its branches they shall nestle and find rest.24 And all the trees of the field shall know (understand and realize) that I the Lord have brought low the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.

There is something exciting but also scary about changing seasons....one is often reluctant to leave behind the known of the previous season in order to embrace the new one. But each season has its own blessings. As we simply walk in faith, with eyes fixed on Jesus and trusting His Holy Spirit to guide us, we will find the glory in that new season too and the further freedom He leads us into.

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bo***ge, freedom). 18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

I was reading some of the gospels this morning and it struck me how they dressed Jesus up as a king in the purple robe (signifying royalty) and the crown (of thorns) to mock Him for claiming to be the Son of God. Physically all they did must have been terrible for Him but none of that affected His position as the Son of God or His knowing that position and who He was. So often we allow the opinion of others (or the enemy) to affect or define us rather than receiving who we are in Jesus and what He has done for us. As God’s children, we are His lily amoung the thorns, even those thorns we encounter in the world that hurt. I don’t deny they exist or hurt but they do not define us in any way or affect our position as sons and daughters of God. So much to celebrate in our life in Christ today.

17 And they dressed Him in purple [robe], and, weaving together a crown of thorns, they placed it on Him.18 And they began to salute Him, Hail (greetings, good health to You, long life to You), King of the Jews!19 And they struck His head with a staff made of a [bamboo-like] reed and spat on Him and kept bowing their knees in homage to Him. 20 And when they had [finished] making sport of Him, they took the purple [robe] off of Him and put His own clothes on Him. And they led Him out [of the city] to crucify Him.
