Meet the dwarf mongoose – Africa’s smallest carnivore, but one of the bush’s busiest characters. Sometimes the most exciting safari sightings are the ones you least expect 🌿🐖

While out on safari in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve, we were lucky enough to spot one of Africa’s most elusive residents - a bushpig!

Unlike warthogs, bushpigs are mostly nocturnal and incredibly shy, making daytime sightings a real treat. They spend much of their time hidden in dense vegetation, emerging to forage for roots, fruit, bulbs, insects, and other natural food sources under the cover of darkness.
