Portraits to keep. Without the sweat. ☀️
Meet Chelsy, Class of 2026 at Harties High. 🤍
I loved photographing Chelsy. Not only because I was struck by her sophistication and elegance (I'm definitely more used to seeing the tomboy version of her! 😄), but because this session shows just how different studio portraits can be.
And let's be practical for a moment.
It's summer in South Africa. It's HOT.
In the studio, we have beautiful, controlled lighting, air conditioning, and no weather surprises.
No melting makeup. No wind rearranging your hair. And yes, boys, no embarrassing sweat marks under your arms!
But the real difference is in the portraits themselves.
Something a little more editorial. A little more intentional. Something that doesn't look like everyone else's photos.
Because this isn't only about looking beautiful today.
It's about having portraits you'll love looking back at years from now.
Portraits of who you are now, before the next chapter begins.
