My beautiful clients,

I just want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your patience, kindness, and understanding.
This year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, and I’ve been facing some very real mental health struggles that have affected me more than I can explain. It’s been one of the hardest seasons of my life so far.
As a mom of three, doing my best to raise them while also trying to hold myself together, this has been an especially overwhelming time.

Because of that, I know some of you have had to wait longer than expected, and for that, I am truly so sorry.
As a small token of my gratitude and to say thank you for your grace and support . I’ll be gifting each of my clients a little something extra.

Hi, it’s me ..Megan.
The heart behind Ash & Timber Photography, previously known as Megan Brown Photography.

This rebrand isn’t just a name change. It’s a reflection of growth, seasons lived, lessons learned, and a deeper understanding of why I do what I do.

Behind the lens, I’m drawn to real moments , the quiet in-betweens, the raw emotion, the way light falls when no one is posing. I photograph connection, not perfection. Stories, not trends. Feeling, not just faces.

Ash & Timber was born from the idea that beauty can rise from change. That strength can live alongside softness. That even after fire, something solid remains.

This business has grown with me through motherhood, healing, heartbreak, faith, and finding my feet again. And with this new chapter, I’m stepping forward with intention, honesty, and a whole lot of heart.

Hi my beautiful photo family 🤍

Jeez… what a year it’s been.

I just wanted to pop in and share a little update from my side. I’ve been a bit quieter this year, intentionally taking more time to be present with my family and to look after myself. Between health ups and downs and raising three kids, this year definitely had its challenges.

I know I haven’t posted or advertised as much as I usually do, but never fear — I have been shooting all year 🤣 That’s also why I’ve decided not to offer Christmas sessions this year.

That said, there has been so much happening behind the scenes. I’ve spent this year planning, dreaming, and making changes for my business — and you’ll be seeing all of that very soon. Please keep an eye on this page because I’m so excited to share what’s coming next.
