14 years of Salt & Light Photography. 🤎
In October 2012, I officially booked my first photography clients while studying full-time and walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine where I would be 14 years later.
From wildlife photography in 2010 to birth and baby bereavement photography in 2026, this journey has evolved in ways I could never have planned. I completed my degree in Game Ranch Management in 2013, but soon realised I needed a career that would allow me the flexibility to pursue my dream of becoming a mom of many children.
The Lord has grown Salt & Light Photography into something I am so incredibly thankful for. For every client, every lesson, every relationship and every Gospel opportunity — all glory to Him.
Photography has humbled me more times than I can count. There have been many days I've wanted to give up, but then a client reminds me why these photographs matter, and I fall in love with what I do all over again.
To my family, and especially my husband, who has stood beside me through countless late nights, editing sessions and cups of coffee — thank you for allowing me to live out this dream. And to the photographers who encourage and support me, I appreciate you more than you know.
My heart for birth and baby bereavement photography has grown so deeply in recent years. Being trusted with these sacred moments is a privilege I will never take for granted.
14 years later, I am still learning, still growing and still so grateful.
Praise the Lord for His faithfulness, for every client He sends and for the opportunity to use my work for His glory.
