I recently returned from a trip to Namibia to capture the rains in the desert. We were treated to incredible storms during the trip and this image perfectly captures what I saw during the fleeting moments of light in between the rain.

This image was shot in Sossusvlei just before sunset.

Really excited to be testing out the all new Sony Alpha SA 14mm f1.8 GM lens! I recently had the chance to test this lens in some dark skies for astrophotography, and now at the beach for some landscapes.

I'm currently busy working on something really exciting, so keep an eye out in the next few weeks to see what I'm talking about....

Last night's sunset in Cape Town was a pretty one!

I shot a composition that I have wanted to shoot for a long time, and yesterday the tide was finally low enough for me to get into the exact spot I wanted. I shot about 5 frames of the water and combined them all in Photoshop in order to get all the little waterfalls in one photo.

Side note: never turn your back on the ocean, my camera got completely soaked by a rogue wave while shooting this photo

A large storm moved down the west coast towards Cape Town this past weekend, so I decided to go capture it at one of my favorite nature reserves in the area, the West Coast National Park.

Here is a short timelapse video to show the storm moving over the reserve heading for Cape Town.
