Due to COVID-19 alert level five Bokamoso Early Childhood Development was not able to have their graduation ceremony for the children who were proceeding to grade 1 the following year.
So it was paramount to organize graduation ceremony for later on that year during our new normal as the country.
The graduation ceremony was organized and prepared for the young ones, it was categorized according to activities which were educational and entertaining for both parents and sponsors (stakeholders). Our ceremony begun at 09h00 and ended at 15h00.
Children begun with activities such as sketch, body building, pageants/ Modelling, singing and traditional dancing.
All those activities displayed understanding and the knowledge of individual. activities were about social issues such as pollution, children abuse and how to prevent and to know how and where to report it.
Their self-confidence was tested and built, these activities showcased most of the things that they were taught throughout the year.
After those activities participates were awarded with trophies for those who performed well. Parents and sponsors were given the chance to talk to children and encourage each other in supporting the children.
The big moment of the day arrived children wore their gowns (academic regalia) walked back to the hall as they were dancing and celebrating their last day at creche.
They were beautiful and reflected their readiness for the next step in the foundation of their academic life.
Speeches and words of encouragement were shared then the children were given their certificates of completion and celebrated. Lunch was served and it was time of meet and greet for the stakeholders.
This event was a big success and it helped the young ones to enjoy their last year in pre-school with joy.
Stakeholders were happy to learn about the activities of the day and loved seeing children happy and performing the way they did. Sponsors were honored to have sponsored the event of such caliber.
Bokamoso stakeholders particularly parents and sponsors, were very happy about the graduations ceremony of the children. Stakeholders were very happy and looking forward to upcoming events of Bokamoso.
Stakeholders could not stop talking about the ceremony. They seemed very happy and enjoyed.
Through the hardship of COVID-19 and the midst of the pandemic, Bokamoso was able to pull through and the ceremony was a success they were able to bring smiles on everyone mainly the children said Njabulo Hlophe sponsor and the parent to one of the children.
He added by saying the ceremony was well organised, activities were well prepared and food was delicious.
Bokamoso Early Childhood Development was celebrated in style.
