Some stories are extra special to photograph, and Cayla and Dave’s journey is one of them.

Standing in the very same place where we captured their wedding photos, we celebrated the next beautiful chapter of their story as they prepare to welcome their little one. Watching love grow from husband and wife to mom and dad is one of the greatest privileges of my job.

Sarah’s maternity session was such a special one for me.

Being part of so many memories like this is something I can’t fully put into words. When I’m there for weddings, maternity sessions, and then family milestones that follow, it becomes so much more than photography you’re no longer just a photographer, you become part of the family in a way, sharing in all the excitement of life’s biggest moments.

There’s something so meaningful about watching each chapter unfold, and Sarah’s journey is one I feel incredibly grateful to witness.

This maternity session with Storm, Craig and their two mini me's was such a beautiful one to capture.

As they prepared to welcome another little boy into their family, there was already so much love, excitement, and anticipation filling their home. Watching them together, you can just feel how special this next chapter is going to be.

There’s something so special about welcoming a new baby into a home especially when he’s the long-awaited little brother to a house full of sisters.

After many beautiful girls, this family has finally welcomed their baby boy, and he is already so deeply loved. Watching his sisters dote on him, hold him close, and completely adore their new role was the sweetest thing to witness.

This lifestyle newborn session was filled with soft, quiet moments at home, and so much joy in the in-between. And I have no doubt this little guy is in for a lifetime of love… especially when his sisters start including him in dress-up and all their adventures.

This shoot with one of my favourite little families was such a joy.

Chaz and Grace are the most incredible parents, and their boys… they’re the kind of kids who steal your heart instantly (they’ve definitely stolen mine). The love, energy, and connection between them makes every session feel effortless.

I love bringing movement and play into my family shoots, so for this one we headed to a local skate park and just had fun. From running around to candid moments in between, it was all about capturing their personalities exactly as they are full of life and laughter.

This Hillcrest engagement session was such a special one.

I had the best time capturing Kirsty and Calvin so much laughter, connection, and genuine joy between them. Sessions like this are always a reminder of how exciting this season of life is, and theirs is something really beautiful.

I’m already counting down to their wedding later this year at Wingrove...it’s going to be incredible.

Photographing the Wessel family is always something truly special.

I’ve had the privilege of capturing their journey for years watching their girls grow from tiny newborns into the incredible young girls they are today. Being trusted to document those milestones is something I never take for granted.

Even though our latest session was on one of Empangeni's most humid and overcast days, you’d never know it from the images. The Wessels brought all the magic laughter, energy, and so much love. Those are the moments that matter most, and they always shine through.

Sessions like these remind me that it’s not about perfect weather, but about real connection and creating memories that last.

Photographing the Reddy family in Durban felt like coming full circle.

Katy and I first met years ago when her daughters attended the school where I worked. I’ve always admired her creativity, resilience, and drive for life qualities her girls have so clearly grown into.

Set against the city buildings of Durban, their session was a beautiful mix of urban energy and genuine connection. Between the laughter and quiet moments, it was so easy to capture the bond they share.

Sessions like these are why I love being a KZN family photographer documenting not just how families look, but who they are together.

Anyone for a slice of cuteness???

Why, oh why, are all these babies so cute?! All I want to do is cuddle them!

Cake smashes are a wonderful way to capture such a special time in your baby’s life that moment between being a baby and becoming a toddler. It’s a season that passes so quickly, so why not freeze it in time and always be able to look back and remember all the wonder their little souls held?

How freaken cute is this little guy!!! I could not stop smiling whole editing these beautiful family photos for Jamie!!! For years familie has been wanting to book for shoots but I have always been to full thankfully last year when she fell pregnant I could do her birth shoot and then we booked her family shoot straight away and boy am I thankful I mean these are just the most beautiful photos!
