The vineyards provided a picturesque backdrop to the heartfelt vows, creating an atmosphere of love that was truly palpable. From the emotional ceremony to the joyous dance floor.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with this amazing couple from the engagement shoot all the way to their wedding day, two truly kind and genuine souls ❤

The Wedding Celebration of Megan & Ri-El:

This past weekend, The Wedding Journalist team was part of something truly special. Nestled in the heart of Swellendam, on Ri-El's father's beautiful and picturesque berry farm, a heartwarming and joyful union of two amazing souls took place.
It's every photographer's dream to capture and be a part of moments like these. So many raw emotions spilling out for all to see; it was truly a sight to behold.

Even Mother Nature decided to cooperate, after an intensely wet winter and record rainfall over the past couple of weeks. Things could have been very different, but spirits were high, and the weather was absolutely perfect.

I am still processing how awesome Tamryn & Ryans's wedding was this past weekend!

After Cape Towns' stormy weather for the last few weeks, it seemed destined for a rainy and cold wedding but the universe aligned and gave us an absolute beauty of a day that was sunny & warm - perfectly attuned to the immense emotions that the bride & groom would experience on their special day. There were lots of laughs and even more tears, but only ones of pure joy and elation.❤

This was my first time shooting at Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway and it is a truly stunning venue, especially at this time of the year! 🍁
There were so many great moments throughout this day that it was extremely hard to keep the previews down so heres a mountain of them 😂

Wow, what an epic way to kick off the month of April! 🤩💃🏻
Kristin and Scott’s wedding could not have gone more perfectly! From the laughs, the tears, and the pure raw emotion that was on display, man this was epic to witness.
Scott confidently delivered the most heartwarming vows I have ever heard, there was not a dry eye among the guests. The gorgeous golden light was basking over us in the afternoon at the beautiful Cape Point Vineyards 🌅
To top it all off this was a successful team wedding with the main man on the video, Chad! From Our Life Adrift & The Salty Zebra Co.
The sheer amount of amazing moments that were captured at this wedding has us giddy with excitement 😎
