Being an all woman team we strive to make the shoot a fun and special treat experience. I use flattering lighting, creative angles and digital artistry to bring out the best features in every woman. What makes a woman attractive? A woman can be beautiful in the traditional and aesthetic sense but not necessarily attractive, whereas another woman can be super attractive and not 'beautiful'. The difference is sensuality...A sensual woman is attractive, no matter what she looks like or how old she are.

Sensuality I believe can and should be practised and learned. It is very closely link to body acceptance and body image. It is about being embodied in your natural feminine essence. Sensuality is linked to the freedom to express your unique and authentic selves, and to the ability to be present and find joy, delight and pleasure in your daily activities.

As Alec Baldwin said:

"To be sensual, I think, is to respect and rejoice in the force of life, of life itself, and to be present in all that one does, from the effort of loving to the making of bread."

Many women struggle with body image issues and may feel self-conscious about their bodies. Bo***ir photos can help women see themselves as sensual beings and appreciate the beauty of their bodies. Seeing themselves in a sensual and empowering way can help boost their confidence and self-esteem.

It begins with an ache, a deep-belly
breath, a cup of hot tea on the sun-soaked deck.

It begins with a prayer said aloud
to the empty kitchen, space enough to hear
the want beneath the want beneath the want.

It begins with a thank you
for what is, a remembering that all
of it is temporary, none of it guaranteed, every
last bit of it precious.

It begins with slowing to the pace of silence,
then getting closer, closer
than you have ever gotten before. Then even a little bit closer. To breath, river, heartache,
sunlight. Because, as Yeats said:

“The world is full of magic things
waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”

It begins, always, with a moment fully allowed.

It begins over and over and over again, new, every day—
with the courage to persist, to do it differently, to walk
the way only you can walk. The courage
to stand all the way up for what holds and heals, to fiercely declare that enough is enough—no more excuses, no more holding in or back, no more pretending
to be small, damn it. Because you are not small. You have never, ever been small.

I don’t think I realised just how much I needed this experience until I did it.I’m currently going through perimenopause, and with all the changes that come with it, I had been feeling increasingly disconnected from my body. The changes in my shape, my skin, my weight, and simply not recognising the woman I saw in the mirror anymore had really affected my confidence. I had started feeling insecure about my body and, if I’m completely honest, I didn’t feel particularly beautiful or feminine. So walking into a bo***ir shoot felt incredibly vulnerable.I was nervous about exposing a body that I had spent so much time feeling self-conscious about. But from the very beginning, I felt safe, respected and completely at ease. There was never any pressure to be anything other than myself. I was guided through everything with such kindness and patience, and slowly, I stopped thinking about all the things I thought were “wrong” with me. Then I saw the photographs.I was emotional because, for the first time in a long time, I looked at myself and didn’t see the changes that perimenopause had brought. I saw ME. I saw a woman who was beautiful, feminine, sensual, strong and worthy of being celebrated.It was such a powerful reminder that my body hasn’t failed me just because it has changed. It has carried me through so many chapters of my life, and it deserves to be appreciated, celebrated and loved through this chapter too. This experience gave me far more than beautiful photographs. It gave me a little piece of myself back.I walked into that studio feeling insecure and disconnected from my body, and I walked out feeling feminine, confident and proud of the woman I am becoming. If you’re going through perimenopause and struggling with the changes, I hope you too know that you are still beautiful. You are still sensual. You are still worthy of being celebrated. And you absolutely do not have to wait until your body looks different to celebrate the body you have today.This was, without a doubt, one of the most intimate and empowering things I have ever done for myself. I will treasure these photographs, but even more, I will treasure the way they made me see myself again.
