Blue Crane Relection
Just saw in the news the Overberg is about to get a torrent of rainfall. I captured this image in 2015 after all the wetlands around Demond Nature Reserve had recieved a huge amount of rain. One seldom gets to see the blue cranes moving through the wetlands as they prefer to inhabit the cultivated wheat fields in the Overberg area.

Leopard Siesta sitting on a low bough of a marula tree this young female leopard was totally unphased by our presence. This makes this game reserve undoubtably one of the best destinations for predator viewing anywhere in the world

Low Flight over Rockpools . Just crazy about how Tyron's tail-draggers bright yellow matched up against the rocky coastline of the Wild Coast. Different perspective at 80 knots.

Flamingos in a Flap . I was so focussed on the yellow Savage flying below me that embarrassingly, I failed to see that the flock of birds below the plane were indeed flamingos. Only looking through my images after the 10 day shoot did i see them and I am pleasantly surprised by the result.

An unusual airport .
Getting a chance to get airborne before the others gave me this opportunity to capture this shot of the Savage Group before they took off from a remote spot on the Transkei coastline.
