moments (wedding)

a few colour moments from a wedding.

i am currently shooting with particular films in mind. it is a “film” mindset. i “develop” afterwards as i would with film.

although sometimes my imagination takes me down the rabbit hole and i get lost. some limitations are extremely helpful to help me not to lose my head (keeping with the wonderland imagery).

the first photo is my current favourite colour shot from the wedding.

three photos from a walk around the durban botanic gardens with philip and his friends (and his mom). the best photos are not posed but moments captured while hanging out together.

the photos are also an ode to kodak porta 400 and tri-x 400. two of my favourite films.

when your wife is more fun than you *

a moment of silliness but the kind of photo you want and a memory you want to remember. posed but authentic and fresh.
the second photo is the original b&w but i wanted a colour photo to break up all the b&w images.
i prefer to keep photos the way i shot them, ie black and white here. but I am trying to be more fun.
