So lately, I have been digging deep into still Life Photography, and how it radiates into every other type Photography. This minimal, still life Picnic set-up at the Oribi Gorge Hotel really shows that simple details work. The details do not need to be over the top or fancy when planning a Garden wedding, Party or Engagement Photoshoot. They can be simple, inexpensive, easy, minimal and still have a great effect.
A proper or set up, should never become louder than the reason for a shoot, that definitely is a huge distraction from the business of capturing the simple moments that Life gives us.

Tailored Space

While taking a walk through Park square in Umhlanga, I noticed this cool display. Retail design is such a great place to explore still Life Photography. I am really happy with all the "leather" tones in this Image. I absolutely love still Life Photography. It's amazing how normal, everyday items can become Art.

I specialize in Holiday styled Family Photography on the North Coast of Durban and KZN. So how did I develop this Vintage twist in My Family Photography style?

I have always loved travelling my Hometown of Durban, South Africa. I then studied Conservation and started travelling and Living on Game Reserves across South Africa. My Love for Nature took me into Aquarium and Marine Biology field and this eventually led me to travelling the World. During these extensive Travels doing what I loved, I developed a Passion for Still Life Photography. I love how this style of photography creates the basis of every type of Photographic composition. From model Portfolios, street photography, Architectural Photography, Wedding Photography, Wildlife Photography. All these various forms of specialist Photographic Genres have one common thread, still Life Photography. There are stories to be told in the Stillness. Stories of God's faithfulness in every season. Stories of winters and Summers, Valleys and Mountain tops. These beautiful stories are etched into my Vintage Photographic Style. I have incorporated this beautiful style of Photography into my own specialist niche. My Holiday styled Family Photography on the North Coast of Durban and KZN will always have a Timeless Vintage twist because of My Love for Still Life Photography.

I Love Rustic Beach Wedding on the North Coast of KZN. I think that the Holiday Vibe brings a simplicity to every moment and just allows day to flow naturally. Kyle and Kyla checked into the Palm Dune Beach Lodge on the North Coast of KZN with Family and Friends. They planned this little Family Vibe to Perfection and because of that simple Planning, we managed to capture a few cool moments along the way.
