A beautiful moment shared between Ax Elle and Hugo Drechou on the final day of the grueling Nedbank Gravel Burn stage race where she is officially announced the winner of the race! 🏆

This beautiful finish line on the final stage was located in Shamwari Private Game Reserve where the riders got to celebrate finishing a harsh 7 days of racing around many beautiful parts of South Africa! 🐘

Toyota Specialized Imbuko at this years Race to the Sea | Gravel Cycling Race 🔵🔴

Leaving Middelplaas and headed towards Caledon on a steep little kicker! A few seconds off the 2 breakaway riders was the main group with most of the Toyota Imbuko team, as well as a few others.

The wind 🌬️ definitely had no sympathy for the riders and when this photo was taken they were still enjoying the last few moments without an awful head wind.

What happens when you ride a gravel 100 miler with a 60km/hr head wind? You get a little toooo close to hitting the wall.

Unfortunately The 226ERS South Africa | Sports Nutrition were going to take too long to grab because there were too many people at the waterpoint, so, you grab 4 hot pancakes instead, stuff some in your back pocket and get back on the bike! 🚴🏻‍♀️

Race to the Sea | Gravel Cycling Race 2026 - My first year shooting this race. 📸

If you asked me what I’d have to say about this race it would that it was just a litttle bit windy 😉🌬️, just a lot of attacking and even more entertainment! Every spot I shot at there was something happening whether it was someone being dropped, an attack happening or just riders going absolutely full gas! ⛽️

Super impressed by this race. You’ll definitely see me there again. 👏 These are my few selects so far! More soon, of course!
