My name is Chris and I take photos in an attempt to capture moments of beauty in life. That means you will find a variety of photos in my portfolio - from capturing the majesty of a mountain sunset to the joy captured in someone's smile. I am an amateur photographer in the original sense of the word. The word "amateur" has become synonymous to "unprofessional", but it originally meant a person who

did something for the Iove of the craft. I do photography because I love seeking and creating beauty in the world. I have been a hobbyist photographer for more than a decade and I hope that you will find glimpses of beauty in my work.
