SOUTH AFRICA
I would like to start off this series with telling ya'all about my Quarintime, Zandeleen's Quarintime. My Quarintime is with my bf, Jaco, and our dog, Leila. We are at Jaco's place in Centurion, SA. My daily routine has been the same more or less. Jaco is fortunate enough to be able to work remotely and continue to work through this time, all that has changed for him is not being able to go to the gym (and being fed a lot). I'm currently using my time to bake, cook, do courses, do research, and write an article. I'm quite concerned workwise, as well as concerned about our photography business. It's time to reinvent ourselves. We take care of our anxiety by taking care of each other, checking in with loved ones regularly (thank goodness for technology), and teach Leila new tricks. When we do need to go shopping, only Jaco goes, so I definitely miss going to the shops and just being able to see the outside world. Cabin fever is starting to catch up... I'm thankful for what this time has taught me, how precious life is and that I am so blessed with what I have. It's hard to think about the thousands of people around the world that aren't able to take care of themselves due to lack of food, water, and housing. I hope that we can all stand together and help lift our country and other countries back up and support one another. We definitely miss going out, meeting people, observing people, and going to parks.
