What does the future look like? What challenges have been solved? What opportunities have been created? Show us your vision through creativity.

Entries Open: 14 July 2026
Entries Close: 31 July 2026 @ 23h59

📝How To Enter:

1. Follow the XPPen South Africa page.
2. Create an original digital artwork, design, photo edit, illustration, or visual piece based on the theme “The Future Through Madiba’s Eyes.”
3. Upload your entry to Instagram or Facebook, and tag our page.
4. Include a brief description explaining your interpretation of the theme.

🏅 Winner Selection
Eligible entries will be published on the XPPen South Africa page. The winner will be the entrant whose featured competition post has accumulated the highest number of likes at the official competition closing time of 23:59 on 31 July 2026.

📌 Rules
1. Entrants must reside in South Africa.
2. Entries must be original work created by the entrant.
3. One entry per person.
4. By entering, participants grant XPPen South Africa permission to repost and share their submitted artwork for promotional purposes, with credit given to the creator.
5. Entries containing offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content will be disqualified.
6. The winner must provide a valid South African delivery address for prize fulfilment.
7. The judges’ and organisers’ decisions regarding eligibility and competition administration are final.

🎨Youth Day Drawing Competition Judge🎨

We are excited to introduce you to this drawing competition’s esteemed Judge - the incredibly talented Kabelo “cabblow” Maaka 💥

Kabelo is the creator of the beloved South African animated series Rorisang & The Gurlz, and a Higher Certificate Lecturer The Animation School, where she is helping and inspiring the next generation of South African creatives.

With her experience as both a creator and an educator, she is bringing a wealth of artistic knowledge, storytelling expertise and industry insight into this competition.

The standard of entries has been incredible - we can confidently say Kabelo has a very tough job ahead of her 😳 The creativity, passion and talent displayed by every single entry has been truly inspiring, and choosing the winner will be no easy task.

We are honoured to have Kabelo helping us celebrate the amazing talent within our creative community.

What does it mean to be a hero?

Heroes come in many forms. They inspire, uplift, create positive change, and help shape the future. This Youth Day, XPPen South Africa wants to see YOUR unique interpretation of “To Be A Hero” through your artwork.

Whether you’re a digital artist or a traditional artist, show us what being a hero means to you and you could win an XPPen Artist 13 (2nd Gen) Pen Display 🏆

📅 Entries close: Sunday, 14 June
📅 Winner announced: Tuesday, 16 June (Youth Day)

How to Enter:
✅ Create an original artwork based on the theme “To Be A Hero”.
✅ Email your entry to [email protected]
✅ Include: Your social media handle(s) and a short description explaining your interpretation of the theme.

Qualification Requirement:
Once we have posted your artwork on the XPPen South Africa social media page and tagged you:
