I couldn't have said it better. Plainly put, birth is a life changing experience and women deserve to have their bodies, their choices and their emotional responses respected - first and foremost by their care providers in the birth space, but also by friends and family around them in their daily lives.

I met up with the Von Bratts and their two little cherubs on the beach a couple of weeks back to capture some family portraits - especially since they recently welcomed a new arrival!

I'm always grateful for the chance to do what I love and I hope that families like this one will treasure their pictures for many moons...
