It was a privilege to be in Cape Town during the royal visit to South Africa by the Queen, ELIZABETH II and the Duke of Edinburgh while both were still alive, back in 1993/4.
I was perched on the ledge of the then Southern life building which is now the Raj hotel, and the Queen turned and looked at me just as I took the photo... Well, I'd like to think she was looking at me....
RIP MA'AM, GO SOFTLY INTO THE NIGHT.

We were out and about this past weekend, and we caught some promotional efforts by the team at Checkers, (This is not a paid promotion, this is our personal observations only) Mr. Fish Finger and Mr. Chippie were in attendance.
Then, we stopped in at a beautiful coffee shop right next door, The Daily Coffee Cafe and came away with some amazing images from both.
