On Thursday, 22 November I attended the Nikon Mirrorless launch at Piers Place in Cape Town, South Africa. We were blown away by the new gear. The Z7 a clear winner in the stills category and the Z6 a more affordable hybrid shooting model and winner in the video category.

I was particularly impressed by the shots taken using my 18-35mm Sigma Art lens (Crop) using auto ISO in low light and capturing the flamenco dancer. This turned me from sceptic to convert.

The Creamery in Newlands is a local favourite offering tasty ice cream, delicious waffles and a great vibe. The appeal is amplified from the green and community initiatives.

Possibly the best ice cream we have tasted in all of our travels. The service was great, the preparation is an experience in itself and the rocking flavour combinations are out of this world. We will be back for more.
