There are moments I’m drawn to again and again.

Not just the birth itself,
but the way people hold each other through it.

Before —
in the waiting, in the unknown.

During —
in the closeness, in the need for something steady.

And after —
in the quiet recognition of what has just changed.

For me, it’s never only about the arrival,
but about the connection that carries people through it.

There is no performance here.
No expectation of how it should look.

Only a body doing what it knows how to do.
Only a moment that cannot be repeated or recreated.

My role is to stay close to what is real —
to notice, to hold, to document what unfolds as it is.
