I have thought long and hard about the following:
I will be taking an indefinite break from photography
All outstanding galleries will be finished soonest (and believe me I am really trying to get everything done) I just do not have the time to complete galleries in the agreed upon times as I did prior. I still have a corporate Monday - Friday job. I am out of the house after 5 in the mornings and only get home to 7 in the evening. I literally see my daughter of 2 years for only 2 hours before we have to do it all over again the next day. Weekends is the only time I get to see my family so I will be prioritising that above all else for now. Sundays we praise Jesus and then we start prepping for the new work and school week.
I have really enjoyed photography and getting to meet all my wonderful clients, but for my mental health as well, I need to take a step back because I can not push myself to where I am editing till morning hours just to get galleries out as I am constantly getting follow-up messages which I totally understand, but please understand I am only human. Photography was always my escape to do something I really loved but has gotten to a point where it just is not giving me joy anymore but is rather adding more stress, and it is unnecessary stress at this point of my life.
So thank you for all the bookings and enquiries, hopefully one day it all will change but for now this is goodbye ❤️
