I don’t often post personal things on here but this one is close to my heart when it comes to me as a photographer and how I see the the world through a camera.
I first stumbled upon Liam Lynch ‘s pictures in the way back then Blunt Magazine - I was still in high school. The way he composed and the way I felt when looking at his photos shaped my eye and my heart in such a manner that I’ll be forever grateful.
In some bizarre way as this life works, our paths crossed some time in my first year at university - we instantly clicked and had such a beautiful friendship from there on.
Liam shot two weddings with me throughout my career which was such an honor to shoot alongside my photography idol. Those two trips are deeply rooted my memory bank.
I got a phone call from Liam a while back where he gave me the news that he was very sick. I immediately went to the hospital to visit. What a special day. It would be the last time I saw you my friend.
We had one more crazy long phone call after that where laughed so much and shared so many wonderful stories.
You will live forever in my heart Liam. I’m going to miss you so much 💔 🕯️
