Yesterday I had this spectacular sighting of two Caracal youngsters in Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
I have seen caracal on numerous occasions, but have never managed to take a decent photo. Thankfully these two were so relaxed in front of the lens. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Absolutely stunning sunset last night from Tsaarsbank, looking over towards Vondeling Island.

Here are two Kelp Gulls that were looking to get their final catch of the day just before the sun was swallowed by the icey Atlantic Ocean.

Btw, colours were not enhanced! Truly spectacular!!

I can't get to the gorillas, so I'll substitute that with local monkeys.
This inquisitive Vervet Monkey was watching me from the safety of a large riverine tree along the Sabie River.

One of 3 lionesses that my brother and I were fortunate enough to see take down a wildebeest at Ngotso Waterhole in Kruger National Park.
She was looking past my vehicle and contact calling. Eventually she was reunited with her 5 cubs (not very small).

I always find it incredible how some animals can conceal themselves. We only see them when they're prepared to be seen.
