‼️ LYNETTE LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE OUR BUSINESS‼️
It is with a heavy heart that I share the following information with you. Three weeks ago, Lynette Love Photography was on the receiving end of a vicious coordinated attack. A wave of fake, false, ugly reviews was posted on our Google My Business account over a 72hr time period by individuals I have never heard of before! 😳 To my honest knowledge, those people have never used my services before! 🤬 My personalised service includes knowing not only the names of every single client I have worked with during the past ten years, but also getting to know them & their loved ones on a deeply personal level. There is thus no way I won't recognise the name of a true client, whom I built a special connection (and often a friendship) with! 👌🤔
While Google has since removed two of these fake reviews, eleven more remains while an agonizingly slow appeals process runs its course. Unfortunately, these reviews heavily impact my business' visibility, it's local standing, and have also completely destroyed the community trust that took me years to build up. 🤨 It obviously severely affected several potential clients who haven't had the opportunity to get to know me yet, basing their opinion of me & my services on those false reviews — evidenced by the fact that I haven't booked a single session since those reviews were posted. Google Analytics revealed a huge amount of website traffic during those weeks, which normally would have led to a solidly booked month. The negative reviews are the only variable that changed, resulting in zero bookings and a complete loss of income for July. 🫣 💵
This attack is clearly focused on hurting me personally by destroying my business. However, those actions doesn't just affect me alone though — the income generated by Lynette Love Photography isn't just used to pay my personal salary or for operational expenses — it's also responsible to help loved ones who cannot financially support themselves due to age or disability, as well as being the only financial support for a pack of innocent foster dogs (some with special needs) who have nowhere else to turn. 😡
Building & running this business single-handedly has been an incredible labour of love, and I refuse to let a malicious review attack undermine years of hard work & dedication to my craft! 🤐 But I cannot fight this battle all by myself — I'M GOING TO NEED YOUR HELP! 🥹🙏 If you have ever done a photoshoot with me, worked alongside me, or have simply been supporting my journey for years through your love of my art, now is the time to reaffirm your support.
