Recently I had the opportunity to capture some impressive images on the historical Silk Route through China. Here are just a few that I would like to share with you!
Xi’an - Silk Route - China
In 1974, two farmers were digging a water well and came across an archaeological wonder, consisting of more than 6,000 terra-cotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, first Emperor of China. They were buried along with the Emperor in 210-209 BCE.
The Terra-cotta Army is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
