It's a wrap at The Royal Bath & West Shows.

From The Wurzels packing out the main tent with a rousing chorus of Drink Up Tee Cider and The Combine Harvester, to award-winning ciders, champion livestock, and even a miniature Ascot complete with tiny jockeys! This year's show once again delivered a brilliant celebration of rural life.

For Andrew, who has been capturing the event through his lens for more than three decades, it's the diversity of the show that never fails to impress. Around every corner there's another new story waiting to be told.

Today it's on to Surrey for family portraits... thank you Fiona for always organising. So, umbrellas at the ready... you've got to love a British summer! Then it's homeward bound next week after another memorable season on the road. โ˜‚๏ธ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

A day spent exploring CHOBE NATIONAL PARK from both land and water delivered the most incredible wildlife encounters.

A crocodile burst from the water in pursuit of a python, proving just how fast and powerful they can be. And who knew crocodiles had such striking green eyes?

There was a beautiful lioness enjoying the shade of a tree, giraffe doubled over to lick minerals from the soil, and wildlife around every bend of the river and lots of happy warthogs trotting around!

The perfect ending? A late lunch aboard the river boat, drifting gently through one of Africaโ€™s most spectacular wilderness areas.

Botswana, you were magnificent. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ผ

The Royal Bath & West Shows is essentially a massive 3 day, 240-acre celebration of agriculture and British country life. I certainly do get my steps in with a smile.๐Ÿ™ƒ
This year, the focal point is the Bath & West Art Centre, with over 350 exhibits and 'Artists in Action' .. and yes, still quite a lot of cows. ๐Ÿ„

Thereโ€™s something wonderfully nostalgic about a steam train journeyโ€ฆ this time, 153 guests heading to Victoria Falls for a dining experience they will never forget.

The clackity-clack of wheels on the tracks, gently swaying carriages, beautifully restored interiors, canapรฉs and cocktails in handโ€ฆ and then the hugely anticipated โ€œsmokeโ€ of the falls beginning to appear in the distance.

A fine misty rain settles over the train, and suddenly the falls appear... magnificent, thunderous and mesmerising. The train stops on the bridge, suspended between Zambia and Zimbabwe, for cocktails and the smooth sound of a saxophonist. Elegant, atmospheric and beautifully timeless.

And then, as the evening unfolded, a group of Zimbabwean dancers brought a completely different energy to the train. Vibrant, joyful and very Victoria Falls.

GALA DINNER - Zambia โœจ

As the sun disappeared into the Batoka Gorge, guests followed lantern-lit pathways to one of the most spectacular dinner settings weโ€™ve ever photographed.

A fairy-lit glass-roofed tent perched on the Zambian side of the gorge, dinner under the stars, and a light show playing out across the cliffs opposite.

One of those evenings almost impossible to put into wordsโ€ฆ and even harder to forget.

In a convoy of 4x4's we journeyed from Marrakesh to the Agafay desert. It was not quite as we expected but a lovely reminder that landscapes can surprise you in the most unexpected ways.

After the rains, what should have been dry and dusty revealed itself in shades of green, with red poppies scattered across the dunes and sheep grazing quietly in the distance.

Kapama Private Game Reserve is currently running on two settings: boiling hot and queue at the watering hole. Happy to have escaped the cold and WET in Cape Town a while.

When itโ€™s this hot, everyoneโ€™s equalโ€ฆ rhino, elephant, lion and us humans alike - all just looking for a cold drink and a bit of shade.
