One day late with this post 🙈
Yesterday 4 years ago you asked me to be your girlfriend
I thought we are crazy to do that long distance relationship but it just felt like the right thing to do.
But man, it wasn't easy!!
I really wanted to do the right thing and be obedient to God. But it was still my choice. I had to take a step. The best advice from a good friend was: Don't be afraid to "fail". Don't be afraid to make a mistake. When you don't try it you will regret it and won't have peace.
So TRUE. Sometimes situations and decisions are so overwhelming.
There are decisions in our lives that can change EVERYTHING in a blink of an eye.
I really experienced in the last 4 years that God's ways are always higher then ours. He knows so much better what we need then what we think we need.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
2 Timothy 1:7
Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Some steps that I think are helpful for decision making (very basic and cut short)
Checking the consequences.
Asking God about it.
Asking a sister for advice.
BE BRAVE!
I could actually say so much more about this 😅🙈 but let's end here:
With God's help we MADE it through high and low and in #18 days our new season starts
I couldn't be more excited!!
