🍂 AUTUMN FOREST SHOOT OUTFIT INSPO 🍂

Autumn creates one of the most beautiful backdrops for family, maternity and couples sessions.
For the best results, I always recommend soft, earthy tones that complement the natural surroundings rather than compete with them.
Think olive, sage, moss, sand, clay, taupe and cream, paired with cosy knits, jackets, scarves and layered textures.
Not only do these colours photograph beautifully during golden hour, but they also help create timeless images that won't feel dated years from now.

✨ Style tip: Choose 2-3 colours from the palette and mix them throughout the family instead of matching everyone exactly.

Client: “Can I have the RAW images?”

This is one of the most common questions photographers get, and there’s a good reason why professional photographers usually don’t deliver RAW files.

A RAW file is not a finished photo. It’s an unprocessed file straight from the camera, designed to capture as much information as possible for editing later. Cameras don’t always capture a scene exactly the way our eyes see it. Especially when it comes to colour, light, shadows, and the sky.

A huge part of photography happens after the photo is taken. During editing, we carefully adjust exposure, colours, white balance, contrast, and lighting to bring the image to life and recreate the feeling and beauty you saw in real life.

The final edited images are a reflection of the photographer’s style, creativity, and finished work.
Just like a chef serves a completed meal, not the raw ingredients, we as Photographers deliver the completed images which reflect our unique style and quality of work.
