was more than just a race ā it became a movement for mental health, connection and purpose.
This past Saturday, I took on the challenge of running a 6km loop every hour, influenced by my Gf who encouraged me (and a few others)to sign up for something bigger than myself.
What struck me most wasnāt just the distance covered, but the meaning behind every step.
Mental health touches each and every one of us ā whether directly or through someone we love. Out there on the course, I couldnāt help but think that every runner had their own story, their own battles and their own reason for showing up.
Together, we werenāt just running miles - we were running for awareness, for hope and for each other.
Sometimes running isnāt about speed or endurance, but about being a light, reminding others (and ourselves) that weāre not alone, and that conversations around mental health truly matter.
Hereās to running for something greater.
