Weeks ago, Jano reached out with a plan to ask the love of his life to marry him. From location scouting to a heartfelt speech, every detail was thought through so intentionally. He sent through photos, videos, and ideas - all to create the perfect moment for Jana. Cape Town weather had other plans. but we hoped for just one clear hour - and that’s exactly what we got! As Jano and Jana arrived, everything came together beautifully. The sky cleared, the moment unfolded, and it couldn’t have been more pertect. Their best friends came running down from their hiding spot up on the mountain and surprised them with champagne and flowers. So thankful I was honoured to capture this absolutely epic moment for them! What a timeeee!

// A few years ago, while shooting a wedding, I found myself constantly drawn to one couple on the dance floor… I was very impressed with their ‘sokkie’ skills and they just looked só in love! Last weekend, I had the absolute honour of capturing their wedding too. Just like the very first night I met them, they danced the night away - a full circle in the best way!

from opposite sides of the world, martyna and nick’s story began at sea - meeting while working on cruise ships and falling in love on the water. it only felt right to say “i do” surrounded by it too.

they exchanged vows at the beautiful in franschhoek, celebrating with loved ones who travelled from across the globe. a day full of meaning, laughter and two very special people - truly one for the ages.

we’ve been keeping a little secret…

on the second of december 2025, ianthe and brenden eloped on chapman’s peak, surrounded only by their parents and the most breathtaking mountain views. being invited into something so intimate and meaningful is something i’ll never take for granted - it’s a day i’ll carry with me forever.

this past weekend, their friends and family arrived at what they thought was a “wedding”… only to be met with photographs from that very day, scattered throughout the space. a quiet reveal that they had already said “i do.”

they showed up as newlyweds - and finally celebrated their marriage with all of their favourite people!
