Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to apologise for my absence over the past few months, I’ve taken a bit of a break from posting here.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be posting daily again, but this time on my personal page Deon Kelbrick, which I’m in the process of transforming into a dedicated wildlife page. If you’re interested in following that journey, I’d love for you to check it out and give the page a follow!🙏🏻

This page won’t be going anywhere, I’ll still be active here, but over the next few months, my main focus will be on building the new page.

Thanks so much for your continued support.

Watch this incredible sighting of a pride of 18 lions sharing a meal in the Kruger National Park. Just listen to those sounds!

Still one of my best lion sightings to date of the Kanniedood pride on the S50 sharing a small meal. We watched the hunt from start to finish, and the feast was awesome to see as the meal was way too small for the amount of lions there were.

What an incredible sighting it was to witness a massive pride of lions encircling our safari vehicle.

We were truly privileged this afternoon as the entire Nkuhuma pride chose to surround our vehicle and go stationary for more than thirty minutes, stopping us from going forward or backwards.

The beauty of soft light.

One early morning on a termite mound, Mondzo, one of our resident female leopards at the lodge, captivated us with her graceful pose. Astonishingly, within just five minutes of embarking on our safari, we stumbled upon her right next to the road.

Hey everyone!

For those that don’t know, that is me with one of the rarest and most trafficked animals in the world, a pangolin.

I am currently working as a full-time guide in the world-renowned Sabi Sands Game Reserve, specifically at the breathtaking Nkorho Bush Lodge.

Every day, I feel immense gratitude that I am able to pursue my love and passion in life, and share it with each and every one of you.

The awe-inspiring late afternoon light illuminating this solitary young male lion radiates a beacon of hope and resilience, defying the daunting odds that lie before him.

International Leopard Day.

Celebrating my favorite animal today, and I could not think of a better duo than Xidulu and her cub to do it with.

I just can’t and won’t ever be able to get enough of these magnificent animals and I am so privilege to be able to spend time with them on a daily basis.

Intelligent, elegant, agile and powerful.

The magic of the north.

This particular morning I left Shingwedzi camp and decided to head north towards Pafuri in search of cheetah because I have had many sightings on this stretch of road of these cats.

About 10 kilometres past the Punda Maria T-junction I spotted something on the side of the road and there they were, two cheetah brothers walking side by side!

I spent a total of an hour on my own with them before they moved off.

Daydreaming beauty.

A leopard sighting which I will never forget.

This female leopard posed perfectly on a branch overhanging the road, creating an incredible scene.
