Lyonheartlove

Lyonheartlove is a non-profit organization dedicated to making documentary films in support of those who can't speak, the wildlife of Africa.

Currently, producing "Something That Matters" "Something that Matters" is a documentary feature conceived by filmmaker Steven Lyon, whilst on a trip to Africa in 2012. He was made aware of the severity of the poaching crisis and of a 1000k trek in the bush, which was organized to raise awareness to the poaching situation. Steven decided to make the film with one purpose, which is to educate people

around the world of the corrupt reality of what is really going on in Africa. Shot on location throughout South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Tanzania, and parts of Asia, this film takes a raw first-hand look at the ever-present crisis of poaching looming over some of Africa’s most iconic species. In this film he will focus primarily on the first of the Big 5 that faces extinction, the African rhino. With rhino horn having more street value ounce per ounce than co***ne or gold, the stakes are very high, and the game is very deadly. On the trek, Steven invited key individuals ranging from celebrated authors, reporters, conservationists, and through them was introduced to various individuals, each fighting the rhino poaching situation in their own way. This film will follow those heroes as they struggle and risk their lives daily to save the species. In the end, Something that Matters is a film of life, showing wildlife in all their glory and telling us that if we act together and act now, we can win the battle, and there is always hope.

These rhinos were shot in S.Africa while filming my documentary which has been a long journey to complete but I am determined to finish it . These beautiful creatures will be in my up coming book
