When clients become like family. I've been so blessed to capture so many beautiful milestones for the Assefa family. From Ethan's cake smash, to the maternity and newborn shoot of Lucas, Ethan's third birthday session, Lucas's cake smash & now the maternity shoot of baby number 3! So precious! Wish I could have captured baby nr. 3's newborn shoot, but Zinash and myself are both due in June.
Precious memories and so special for me to be a part of it all. ❤

Yesterday we went for our booked maternity session (with our toddler) and oh my - was she a handful! Our poor photographer! The joys of toddler life and everything that comes with it! 😄
So, once we arrived at my studio afterwards, I asked Hubby to take some photos of me before I washed off my make-up and all my curls were all gone. I wanted to have some photos with this backdrop as it's my personal favourite in studio, and the two white/cream outfits have never been worn in studio!
So happy we did it, as these moments pass by so quickly.
A quick 12-minute photoshoot. 🤣
33 Weeks & 4 days. ❤
It's my last week of work and ending it off on a high note. ❤

A session I did last month for my daughter - with my studio packed up and having no studio to capture her in (even though I had this picture-perfect setup in mind), I decided to leave it all, and 16 days after my son's birth we did this impromptu session in our backyard when the weather was finally accommodating us, and we had a gap during that rainy time. I bought a cheap cake and donuts from Spar and had the goal of capturing her facial expression and enjoying the moment with her. It was truly so special. ❤

Hi Guys! I've been a little quiet, keeping busy with this little one! My studio is currently still in boxes but I had to grab some of the closest props and capture something for his 1 month milestone. You'll notice it's not like my normal photography, these are taken on my living room floor in natural light. Quite something different than my usual style with flash. But so happy to be able to still share something with you all. xx

When Johandre's dad made the comment at the start of the cake smash, saying he doesn't know his son this way, as he was such an introvert in that moment and barely touched his cake, he within minutes took a 360 turn and truly smashed his cake! I've never seen so much cake everywhere in the studio! haha. He did such an excellent job in smashing his cake and enjoying his bubble bath. What a fun Monday morning, and he loved every second of it. ❤
