Photography started in my early years with my father telling me about his developing skills at his boarding school in Rhodesia. It was when I was sent to boarding school that I jumped at the chance and chose photography as my art major. I spent my senior years locked in a tiny dark room with a singl
e red bulb and the stench of chemicals around me. I even ended up developing a few of the other scholar’s exam pieces. When I left school I didn’t have the opportunity to continue studying the art form and so my interest slowly disappeared. Film gave way to digital and it was a number of years later that I had the chance to go and work in Angola. Wanting to capture my experiences, I bought myself an entry level DSLR camera and it wasn’t long for my passion to be reignited. I have since turned it from a hobby to a small personal business. With better equipment and a home studio, I am always looking for the next opportunity to try something different. Thanks for looking.
