My first wedding vs. my latest wedding. 🤍
When I started photography, I believed every image had to be tight. I cropped in close, layered preset on top of preset, and didn't always pay attention to things like straight horizons and clean composition.
Years later, I've learned that growth often comes from doing less, not more.
I've learned to let the background breathe, to use space intentionally, to keep my editing clean and timeless, and to pay attention to the small details that make a photograph feel polished. Most importantly, I've learned to trust my eye.
Looking back at my first wedding, I see someone who was passionate and eager to learn. Looking at my latest wedding, I see the result of years of practice, mistakes, experimentation, and growth.
The beautiful thing is that neither photographer is wrong. One was learning, and one is still learning. ✨
