Dear Clients 🐾
End of last year and the start of this one have truly been a game changer for me. Between health and mental health challenges, it’s been a season filled with ups, downs, and everything in between. A bit like a wobbly puppy finding its feet, or a gentle horse needing to pause in the shade after a long ride. The burnout has been hectic!
Whimsy Dreams Photography has been my little baby for many years. Built with love, late nights, happy tears, stressful moments, and a whole lot of heart. Like raising a loyal pup or bonding with a soulful horse, it’s taken patience, trust, and unconditional love.
As a creative, a photographer, and a complete animal lover, I poured everything into it… and together, we made it something truly special. Something magical.
I’ve also been incredibly blessed with my own little “bubble boy” puppy, allergic to what feels like the entire world, which has meant constant specialist visits and unplanned flare-ups that need immediate care and attention.
Alongside that, I have a young horse who is in a very important stage of life, needing my full focus, time, and consistency with handling and schooling.
Right now, I’m choosing to take a little breather. Not a goodbye, not a shutdown, just a gentle pause. A moment to rest, reset, and wander barefoot in the grass for a while. Because life is short, and tomorrow isn’t promised (even to the fluffiest paws and strongest hooves).
This isn’t goodbye, this isn’t me closing down, disappearing, or packing away my camera… this is me upgrading to Elite 😅
I will still be around, still capturing wagging tails, tiny paws, windswept manes, and those deep, soulful eyes that say everything without a single word. Just on a more limited basis with fewer available sessions.
This journey has been one of the most beautiful adventures!!! Filled with muddy paws, slobbery kisses, soft nuzzles, quiet golden moments, and unforgettable memories.
It’s not the end of the story… just a softer, slower chapter where I take time to breathe and give my own family and animals the love and attention they deserve.
With everything becoming more expensive these days, I’ve decided not to increase my prices for now. I know we’re all making sacrifices to get by, and I truly believe capturing your pet’s story, their spirit, their quirks, their love, is something precious worth holding onto.
To every client, every pet model, every wagging tail, every twitching ear, every trusting soul placed in front of my lens, thank you. You are the heartbeat of Whimsy Dreams. Without you, none of this would have ever been possible
And just for the gossip squad out there…..
I’m still here, still creating, just a little more exclusive (and maybe a little more magical )
I am behind on a few things but catching up as fast as I can. I am human, be patient please.
