..paired whispers.. unspoken bonds.. .two black-backed jackals sharing a fleeting mirror of sky in a roadside puddle, their thirst softened by silent companionship.. .two ostriches ushering twelve fragile shadows to safety across a gravel trail.. .two springbok touching foreheads in a quiet contest that seems more of a ritual than rivalry...two ground squirrels flickering in and out of earth's embrace.. .here in harsh conditions, tenderness often travel in pairs ..none of them ever straying too far apart..
