Collages & moments of breath from my trip to Oman last month. Travel photography was always a gateway for me. It taught me that having fresh eyes is simply a matter of perspective, and is one that is available anytime. Little miracles everywhere, but you have to LOOK! 🫧🦋🌀

Just a feeling I get when in places that make me feel small 🌀 It’s everyone else’s first time doing this life, exploring this world, experiencing this day, too.

A tiny sliver of bioluminescence, and other wonders.

This island is often described as other-worldly, and it is. I do find it helpful to remember that it is actually from this one, this world.

Sitting among the trees, a few of our guides asked why we came. We pointed at the landscape. Their response was wow, really? All this way for these trees? Not in a shocked way, but just like huh, cool.

Two reflections: first, the obvious. How incredible is it that these things exist? Yes, amazing, yay. But go one level deeper - how lucky would you be to find yourself living in such close proximity to something, to get so accustomed to something that someone else would travel across the world for? Consider that we all do.

Sometimes I get so sucked into my routine and I forget. I forget to see the world with new eyes. All it takes is a little more intention, a little more childlike wonder, maybe a little more mischief, and a willingness to expand. 💓

Artist to artist (and btw I’m talking to ALL of you even those who don’t call yourselves artists): I would recommend that you follow in directions you are naturally drawn to. This is how you build a body of work.

A body of work can be:
- Silly selfies you took in waiting rooms
- Times you noticed the squelch of mud under your feet
- Audio recordings of crickets after dark
- Birthday cards you made for your friends
- The various creative toppings you put on your popcorn
- Your application videos for Survivor (I’ve made 2 so far personally)
Just my humble opinion.

If you are human, you create. You are a creator. And as a creator you have subjects you keep coming back to you, and you build on that as body of work knowingly or unknowingly. Which is beautiful. It happens naturally, usually, when there is no pressure (though in rare cases, I find that pressure can be helpful).

For me one of these subjects is water, and what is above and below water. Here are some favorites ♥️

Thank you all SO much for your support this year. Your comments and messages throughout the year truly mean so much.

Huge gratitude as well to my incredible network of creatives, whatever role you currently find yourself in. Thank you for giving me the space and encouragement to create without limits, and advocating for artists as we enter the age of AI. Those of you who put my name forward for such fun campaigns, the marketing teams, producers, creative directors - you guys are all-time.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

Logging off til 2026. Hope to see you there.

I grew up collecting sea glass (bits of glass smoothed out by time spent tumbling around in the ocean). It’s always been such a fun hobby and an exercise in noticing, a real delight to find a good piece!

Blue is my favorite, and a color I don’t find often. These are some sea glass “portraits”, still life photos of some of my tiniest pieces, to show their uniqueness in shape, translucency and color. No doubt my sea glass collection will be expanding, so this series probably will too. 🧊😌

If you’re a beachcomber too, what has been your coolest find?

I did this last year and it felt really nice to share, so here’s 2025. Let me know if anything resonates 🌌♥️

Thought I would share an update on my 3D printing journey. So far this is the most high-maintenance way I have tried to make art in my life, which I luckily find hilarious.

Anyway, it’s annoying news but you usually have to try, experiment, and fail in order to get to your end result. Apply this concept to whatever project, idea, or dream you’re procrastinating on. ♥️
