Some summer nights don’t even feel real.
Soft lake water, warm air against sun-kissed skin, flowers swaying in the breeze, and the kind of golden light that makes everything look like it belongs in a dream. The Adirondacks in the summer have this quiet magic about them — slow, romantic, almost cinematic.
These are the nights I wait all winter for. Boat rides at sunset, the smell of the lake, glowing skies, laughter drifting through the air, and moments that feel suspended in time for just a little while.

As I sit here editing with freezing temps outside and scraping frost off my car, I cannot stop thinking about this warm, golden July day. The kind where the air feels soft, the sun lingers forever, and everything glows.

This sweet couple stood by the water with that effortless, can’t-stop-smiling kind of love. The breeze coming off the lake, her dress catching the light, the way he looked at her like she was the only person on earth — it was one of those days that reminds me why summer weddings are pure magic.

Okay but listen… sometimes the weather does its own thing and the magic shows up anyway ☔✨

Meghan & Stephen were dreaming of a snowy engagement session, and Rochester said “how about rain instead?” — and honestly… it was kind of perfect.

Highland Park gave us moody winter romance, misty paths, and that cozy, tucked-in-close kind of love you can’t fake. Then we warmed up inside the Lamberton Conservatory, which felt like stepping into a secret little jungle in the middle of January 🤍

Also… I swear these two practiced beforehand because they were pros. Every pose, every laugh, every sweet little forehead touch — effortless. They made my job way too easy and looked adorable doing it. Rainy day engagement sessions might officially be underrated.

Meghan & Stephen, if this is how you two handle a change of plans, your marriage is going to be just fine 🥹
