Christmas in Stockbridge feels like stepping straight into a Norman Rockwell painting, because it *is.* 🎄✨
Main Street is the very scene Rockwell immortalized in his famous 1967 illustration ‘Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas.’ Standing here today, the nostalgia is unmistakable: from the classic storefronts to the warmth that rolls right out onto the snow.
Also pictured here is the historic Red Lion Inn, welcoming travelers since the 1700s, glows at the heart of it all: a reminder of New England charm that has survived fires, rebuilds, and centuries of stories. ❤️🏡

Haunted houses have been part of our Halloween story for over a century — born from old ghost tales and Victorian parlor games, then brought to life by thrill-seekers who wanted to walk straight into their fears. By the 1930s, community haunted houses became Halloween staples, and today they’ve evolved into immersive worlds of art, sound, and shadow 👻💀

At Haunted Overload in Lee, NH, that legacy is not only alive, it’s breathtaking. From dragon castles and eerie door faces to glowing lamps and gravestones, every inch is hand-crafted horror at its finest 🔥🕸️

I’m usually chasing landscapes and light, but this Halloween, I traded sunsets for screams, and it was worth every chill down my spine 🎃🌕

Skeletons have long danced through Halloween’s history, they're a reminder that beneath the masks and costumes, we’re all the same beneath the skin. From medieval “danse macabre” art to modern front-yard frights, these bony figures have always been symbols of both fear and fascination 👻🩻

At in Lee, NH, the skeletal displays are something else entirely — towering, twisted, and alive with eerie detail. You can almost hear them rattling in the dark… 🦴🌫️

Pumpkins have been the heart of autumn for centuries, symbols of harvest, protection, and creativity. The jack o’ lantern tradition began in Ireland 🇮🇪, where people carved turnips to ward off wandering spirits like Stingy Jack. When Irish immigrants came to America, they upgraded from turnips to pumpkins 🎃👀🕯️

At in Lee, NH, the spirit of the season comes alive — fiery grins, glowing gourds, and scarecrows that seem just a little too real 😈🍂
