By now you probably know how much I love photographing old churches. I had a real estate closing in Viroqua today so I took a little detour on my way home to photograph this historic Lutheran Church. Most country churches are quite modest in size but this one dominates the surrounding countryside.

Early mornings always pay off! ☀️ Before the sun even rose, I made some coffee, fed the critters, and sent the drone up just as the first light hit the horizon. The view did not disappoint, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 📸🚁

Captured some stunning fall colors with the drone over the weekend! 🍂 The high-res shots look amazing on a big screen and would make beautiful prints to frame. Trust me, your phone won’t do them justice! Living near Lake Redstone gives me plenty of gorgeous subject matter to work with. I also keep my drone with me while out on real estate appointments, so if I spot something inspiring, I’ll capture it when my schedule allows. Stay tuned for more!

I had the chance to visit the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in Sauk County on October 3, 2024, and captured some amazing moments! 🚂✨ This museum is a treasure for anyone who loves history, trains, and a bit of nostalgia. It offers a glimpse into the golden age of railroads, with beautifully restored locomotives and vintage railcars. 🚁✨ Took these amazing drone shots last week after showing a home in the charming town of **Plain, Wisconsin**! This area was primarily settled by Bavarian immigrants, and I love how the street signs are in German. 🇩🇪

As someone of German and Swedish descent who’s had the chance to visit both countries, I can really feel the rich German heritage here—especially in the beautiful church and shrine they built. Such a unique place!
