A few more photos of the presentation of the first copy of 'Is This The Poem I Promised You?' during the VIP evening of the KunstRai to Abdelkader Benali.

All works from the serie can be found in the book and you will read background stories about the creation and all props used in the various works are classified and depicted per work.

Inspired by the individual works of art from the fine art photography series ‘Is This The Poem I Promised You?’ five well-known writers took the challenge, seated in front of one of the works, to write a short story stimulated by their imagination. That resulted in five unique stories from Abdelkader Benali, Martin Michael Driessen, Arnon Grunberg, Sanneke van Hassel, Paul van Tongeren and Annelies Verbeke.
