It is coming up to that time of year.

I love mentoring and training other photographers and have made real positive change to people I have mentored. It can be a game changer. I am really happy to be able to offer mentoring vouchers that can be tailored to suit an individual photographer / from experienced artist, professional photographer to absolute beginner .

I specialise in personal projects, how to get your work seen, developing your work, how to move forward with a project , through to portraiture and photography skills.
From a one off session through to a longer term commitment.
I am an Ambassador for Nikon Europe and the Royal Photographic Society, and my work has been published and exhibited internationally.

Sessions can be held on zoom too.

Lovely to be able to take part in the panel, to participate in workshops, talks and also facilitate some portrait work .

Lovely to see this today in the The British Journal of Photography - In the studio.

In an old mill overhanging the Leeds and Liverpool canal, Carolyn Mendelsohn has created a light-filled haven.

Having the best time learning how to create cyanotypes photograms and different processes with the extraordinary and brilliant Angela Chalmers .
Lots of experimenting, playing and learning.
Today we will explore more cyanotypes and toning them and also maybe even try some chlorophyll prints on leaves if we have time.
I am using negatives from film I have processed and made on my large format camera. These are of Andreea Chitan- I have scanned them and printed them on acetate.
Here you can see a finished playful cyanotype photogram, then a look back through the process.
I love learning, I love working with experts in their field, and Angela is incredible.
Last day today, though actually maybe I should run away to Scarborough and be Angela’s apprentice.
So greatful to be able to do this because of my dycp
