PTPM Designs My goal in shooting is simple; to create precious treasures and capture priceless memories through photography.

I take on the task of photography as an exploration of my surroundings, pausing to survey what I see before I click the shutter. I want to make the viewer feel as if they are in the room with me. Although I enjoy capturing portraits, some of my best work is captured in unexpected moments. My photography captured for family portraits is done in a way that allows the viewer to reminisce on that time spent together. It is captured in a candid fashion that provides not just a portrait, but a moment forever frozen in time. When I am photographing for documentary purposes, I tend to shoot in black & white, because I believe that color can be a distraction and cause the viewer to miss very intricate details that you may not see with color. My hope is that a viewer will be able to take in the work, appreciate the details and narrate their own perspective. My goals in my photography is to be the family photographer for clients, where I am called upon to capture every precious milestone in the lives of that family. With my documentary photography, my goal is to become a story teller. I want you to turn the pages of photographs and narrate what you see taking place in the pictures.
